    For those that may not remember, this is where Moses died. God let him see the promised land but not enter into it. That green line of trees running left-right through the pic is the Jordan River, which separates Jordan from Israel. Beyond the Jordan River is the land the Israelites spent 40 years hiking through the desert to get to. Just off the picture to the left would be the Dead Sea, and just off the pic to the right in the distance would be Jericho.
