The new Switch Rail from Princeton Tech originally introduced at the 2013 SHOT Show is close to full scale production. The Switch Rail is Picatinny compatible and waterproof to 1 meter. Designed as a low output light for structure search, navigation, low level illumination, and breaching operation, it is capable of 10 lumens of output for up to 36 hours using 2 2016 coin batteries. Available lamp options include IR/Red and IR/White. The Switch Rail was developed through a collaboration between Austere Provisions Company, Sentinel Designs LLC, and Princeton Tec.

does anyone have an idea what the deal is with Sentinel Designs? They don’t have any information on their book page since January. Seems like they either fell off the face of the earth or has been only working on this project? either way – i am wanting a gen4 magwell from them and the anticipation is killing me.
Why not a white/red option?
