If Clarke Capital Partners has anything to say about it, Contour, makers of action cameras is coming back after closing its doors in August. Clarke Capital Partners were the high bidders at $1.925 million for the defunct company’s assets during a competitive auction by a court-appointed receiver. Geek Wire reports that while the sale has been approved by the court, it still needs to be finalized by the parties. CCP was an investor in Contour before it went out of business. Apparently, operating capital was its major challenge, defaulting on nearly $7.5 million in loans prior to closing.
We wish them well as the Contour has been very popular with shooters due to its tubular shape and mounting options,

Get a Replay XD and move-on. The picture is better (very little barrel distortion), HD, the tube is smaller and there’s tactile feedback for when the recording starts/stops.
I love my Contour. It has taken some hard impacts and still works great.
Replay may be better at this time, but I am excited to see how far Contour can go.
I love my contour. I own a gopro as well, but when it comes to helmet mounted the Contour’s adjustability is fantastic:

Buy a Drift – the Ghost HD or Ghost S are much better than any Contour.
