AmmoNation by James Yeager

James Yeager is holding a crowd-funding venture on Kickstarter for a documentary titled ‘AmmoNation’. It will follow a group of James Yeager’s Tactical Response students through “..intensive and gut wrenching scenarios.” Depending on the success of the project, it might even turn into a series.

  1. NOLA says:

“I’m very controversial”,”Im very outspoken”….No, he is a coward who ran off to save his own ass in a ditch instead of returning fire when his friends were dying. He is the gun owner version of “Dog the bounty hunter.” The LAST thing the gun culture needs is this assclown representing us. I can’t believe this.

  2. Erik says:

A documentary…..of a class. Since when does some shooting course need an “embedded journalist”?! Granted, I’ve never been through any of his courses, or ever will for that matter, but this really just seems like a waste of money for all parties involved.

    • Patrick says:

Considering his need for “the action shot” by placing photographers in front of the firing line on his class range outings, my feeling is that he doesn’t really care that his class doesn’t truly need the cameras and is doing it for a publicity stunt.

For all intents and purposes, as much as I don’t know the guy, his personality, previous comments and demeanor fits the “irresponsible gun nut” category.

  3. Sgt.Rock says:

Another publicity stunt. No one is asking for it, no TV channel is working on this or even remotely considering it as a series. This is just another Youtube publicity stunt by one of the dumbest, poorly trained, completely non-vetted clowns in the industry.

I would rather stay home and count the wrinkles on my dog’s balls that watch some worthless garbage.

  4. John says:

He’s a douche for one, and two, the last video I saw of his “training” had like 40 PMC-wannabe fudds running through shoot houses with some of the worst tactics and safety fundamentals I’ve ever seen.

  5. Dave says:

    $10k to high-five James Yeager, eh?…seems legit.

  6. veteran says:

    Nope….

  7. Mike says:

    Dear Lord, NO!!!!!

  8. shots&Pots says:

Can’t help but think James purchased the highest tier.

  9. Josh says:

This guy is just a walking publicity stunt…a no talent punk that belongs with the likes of the reality show crowd.

I’m getting really tired of this turd ‘representing’ gun culture. But more importantly, he’s unfortunately he’s becoming a quasi media figure who makes reasonable gun owners look exactly the opposite of what most are.

We just need to cut him off. Stop going to his courses, stop giving him views and likes. He makes money on drama, just like the Kardashians, Hilton and the many other worthless additions to our culture/humanity we have to deal with on a daily basis.

But here’s the hard part…everyone loves to see a train wreck…

  10. DI says:

I’m just waiting for this clown to come out with a sex tape!

  11. Weaver says:

He couldn’t get on to any of the current shooting shows, such as Top Shot (I know someone who auditioned with him, and yes, his attitude was all you’d expect) so he’s going to try to get other people pay to give him his own.

    Classic Yeager.

  12. ruan says:

    They are fat..

  13. Harper says:

He validates the stereotypes held by the left about the gun culture. For his own purposes and fame he would jeopardize everything responsible gun owners have worked hard to protect.

  14. 2-bpm says:

…..And he ruins all the best cool guy T- shirts!

  15. CapnTroy says:

The only “Ammo” that this show will produce will be the ammo he gives to the anti-gun crowd…

  16. Stryker Magnum says:

Tried to watch it. Started to feel my IQ points slip away as soon as he opened his mouth. Shut it down at the 41 second mark. Going to take a shower in attempt to wash the tard off me.

  17. Will says:

Holy cow! His kickstarter page is almost $30,000!

I think I am going to start a kickstarter project where I poop in a cup.

  18. Mike Nomad says:

I hadn’t heard of this James Yeager guy before seeing this thread and watching the video… What a tiny, sad joke.

Then, intrigued by NOLA’s comments, I dug around on the InterWebs to see what he was going on about… It is horrifying that anybody is willing to pay a Tactical Cheeseburger like James Yeager for what he calls “training.”

  19. SSD, why do you continue to give this guy press? Inquiring minds want to know…

  20. Freeman says:

    He’s such a stupid asshole.

  21. Brandon says:

He wants to be on television SO badly, you’d figure his many failures so far would be a clue?

  22. Jesus Built My Hotrod says:

Will they have the 100 yard dash and jump into a ravine event?

    • Mike Nomad says:

Hehe. I would love to see that crew go through Defoor’s Carbine Tests.

      (and)

Nice handle. Used to spin the long version & TV Song a lot.

  23. The Downrange Girl says:

Ugh, there is no one more I’d rather NOT represent the 2A community. Why does he need the money to film this? Can’t he just do another emotionally unhinged video and have it go viral?

  24. Mohican says:

I guess he is a beloved guy in the industry. LOL.

  25. Haji says:

I have no doubt that this venture will exceed what the goal is. I also have little doubt that 90% of SSD readers won’t be a part of it. Dude’s got a successful business model, and he’s drawing in students. I won’t begrudge him making a buck just because it’s not the way I’d do it; he’s serving his customer base.

Am I defending him? Nope. I’m simply understanding what he’s got goin’ on. Its not for me, but a large number of people don’t agree with me on that topic.

  26. thomas says:

Airsofters film themselves with GoPros all the time. Why does he need money to film his airsofters?

  27. Will says:

Even James Yeager wants to be like Chris Costa.

  28. Miclo18d says:

Something deep deep down tells me this guy got kicked out of Stormfront, before he came onto the you tube stage.
