Kitanica – Backcountry Pants Now Available In Black

Kitanica’s popular Backcountry Pant is now available in Black. Made from 50/50 NyCo ripstop fabric and Mil-Spec A-A-55301 nylon webbing, the Backcountry pant features 2 hip pockets, 2 rear pockets, and 2 knife/cell phone pockets on each leg for plenty of carry space. The riveted button waist features a YKK metal fly zipper, and a 7 belt loop, contoured waistband. A Velcro side cinching system allows the wearer to adjust the pant to their liking, and reinforced knees, a reinforced seat, and bar-tacked stress points make for an overall durable pant.

Also available in Ranger Green, Khaki, and Stone.

PLEASE someone, anyone make me a technical pant like this but resist the urge to put pockets, velcro and zippers all over the legs. I know it is boring to the hipster designers but I need a lo-pro technical pant that doesn’t make me look like an escapee from an AirSoft match.

      Plenty of pants out there.

Your inability to shop has nothing to do with these pants.

And so basically you want “Technical pants” that have no pockets….so what like dockers?,default,sc.html

      should i continue….

First of all, the post was obviously a bit in jest. Read what I wrote, I am looking for pants with NOTHING on the legs below the waist line. So unwad your panties. Second of all, every single pair of pants (except the Vertx casual – good call) has pockets and/or zippers and/or something on the legs. So, although I don’t rate my “inability to shop” as something I worry about (is this a fashion forum now?) I apologize for offending your sensibilities. Not really though.

Yeah, Dockers are technical design pants. Seriously? I am obviously looking for something with a gusseted crotch, breathable fabric, some stretch material would be nice, etc. From what I can tell, the sole point of your response is to blast my post. So whatever makes you happy. For the posters below, thank you for your input.

        Should I continue…

VertX is good to go, also Helikon does great tactical pants, which have many pockets but are in fact made from jeans denim.

JB – take a closer look at the images of these pants….. They are VERY low profile.

They are, in fact, pretty discrete. I have a couple pair of the khaki version and got away with wearing them with a blazer. Even better, the fit is fantastic if you have a more athletic build (there’s no issue with the Royal Robbins/5.11 elastic diaper butt potato sack pants).
