Agreed. It’s not designed for a dude who hits the range on Saturday afternoons but rather dudes who work the two-way range.
Don’t worry, heaps of cake-hole bandits are buying them too. Seen more than a few at a couple local ranges.
Its also a range finder and an illuminator. The laser for a class -1 goes way farther than any other class-1 laser i have seen!
