Agilite – Mohawk NORSK

Mohawk NORSK Square

Agilite has just released a variant of its Mohawk Ops Core FAST Helmet Cover in Norwegian Woodland Camo for Norway’s Rigg As Tactical Group, a leading supplier of equipment to Norway’s Military. Norway was the first country to issue the Ops Core FAST Helmet wide scale for regular troops, and the Mohawk NORSK will bring helmet-borne functionality to troops wearing the National pattern.

“We enjoyed working with Agilite on this project to allow us to provide another unique high quality tactical product to Norwegian forces. The combination of our experience with Norway’s Military, Law Enforcement and Security units and Agilite’s excellent level of design and manufacture not far from Europe, is always a winning combination.”

– Joachim Riise, CEO of The Rigg As Tactical Group.

Calling Rigg AS a leading supplier for the norwegian army is a bit of an exaggeration. They probably sell alot to end users, but not alot to the defence logistics organization.

Agilite is an israeli company aswell, or as he so diplomatically but it “not far from Europe, and I think the army would think twice before ordering from an israeli company. Not that theres anything wrong with that, but wherever there may be controversy the army stays away.

so what we have here are helmet covers that maybe our friends behind the wire might buy if they drop the multicam, and no one else will dare to buy. My guess is they’ll wait 5years for Cato-Ringstad to produce one.

Oh yea, cause Norwegians haven’t used privately purchased Israeli gear at all in the past…

Privately you can use whatever you like, be it russian/american/israeli/chinese/etc gear, as Long as your Company Co thinks its ok. I have the agility IPC myself. My point was that FLO will most likely Not buy this for general distribution.

        • Lasse says:

You are apparently not aware of what NDLO (FLO) is doing their own cover, and have been prototyping it since at least early 2012 when I saw a prototype (produced by NFM) for the first time.
Afaik, there has also been field trails of the white version, in at least one unit.
I thought this was common knowledge, apparently I was wrong. Then again, your “info” about RIGG is way off, so there is no surprise here. You might want to check your sources…
