Thin and lightweight, MTek’s Critical Protection Inserts are designed to be worn in any standard armor vest, offering NIJ Level IIIA protection. The CPI is encapsulated in a polyurea coating, which makes them waterproof, durable, floatable, and easy to clean. Most impressively, when worn in conjunction with NIJ Level IIA or IIIA soft armor, the CPI is capable of offering limited rifle round protection, stopping both 7.62×39 lead-core FMJ and 55gr M193 5.56.
Available in the following sizes: 5×7, 5×8, 6×8, 6×9, 7×9, 7×10, 8×10, and 10×12. Made in the USA.
