Torpedo 2600

Brunton’s Torpedo 2600 is designed as a charging device that plugs into the 12v socket in a vehicle. It stores power via an onboard 2600 mAh battery for on-the-go use, and can also charge using a Micro USB. Output is through a dual standard USB port.

    Beyond the somewhat phallic looking nature of this, it looks like an incredibly convienent way to take some extra battery power out with you.

    Also, it looks to be a bit more rugged than some of the portable PV cells I’ve had( granted things probably have gotten better in the past 5 years).

    Looks like a seated O ring just south of the shiny part, so, I’m assuming there’s some sort of cap…

    Anything like rubber stops to keep moisture/debris out of the USB ports?
