PBS recently aired a special on the history of the US Navy SEALs. There’s some great stuff in there.

Already saw the move with Charlie Sheen. What else could there be to know?
Sometimes SEALs do FID
Bahahahahahahahahaha
For you, nothing.
Saw this when it aired and thought it was good!
Thank you for posting that.
I’m pretty sure if there is a story to be told about SEALs, it’s already had a book and movie made about it.
Beat me to it.
And the same can be said about almost any organization that does any thing interesting. The Green Berets had the ballad of the green beret, the John Wayne movie during Vietnam, Delta/Cag has had multiple books, movies, even a TV show, same goes for the marines, PJs have written books, Rangers have, every group has had people go out and speak.
Although this documentary had a lot of interesting hitherto little-known or unknown facts and interviewed a lot of very interesting operators, it was a lot of the facts and people(e.g. Don Shipley, ect) that they didn’t state or other SEAL operator that they didn’t interview. Although it was good(on a number of different levels – typical PBS production quality, etc.), have to admit, I was expecting a bit more content. Nevertheless, many kudos’ to the entire SEAL community and PBS for putting this production out there. Most definitely not a waste of time to watch…
The SEALs had an untold story somewhere?
No mention of Prime Chance on the program. Seemed odd to me.
