I love my timbuk2 courier/laptop bag. Super durable, USA made.
They have that camo, but they call it “watercolor camo washed out blue and tan”. They also have ACU pattern, and call it “green digi camo”.
So, I guess they’re not into paying royalties, and using imitations instead.
I’d love to see a multicam/scorpion pattern available, or at least coyote brown… JAG officers need something to carry their briefs in!
They used to sell a knockoff MultiCam.
This pattern always reminds me of UCP Delta, but not ugly and probably actually would have performed better in a field test.
Assuming this was based off of brookwood transitional..
I can see the resemblance to UCP-D except that to meUCP-D always looked like regular UCP that got some mud splattered on it, this pattern looks much better and I agree that it would probably work pretty well in the field.
You’re a big Brookwood fan huh SSD?
It’s something different.
I liked the Brookwood pattern. It was different and distinct from all of our allies who are using Multicam variants. It wouldn’t have been a downselect if it was a trash pattern. I seem to remember reading that the test results were very close between all the patterns. I would have had no issue wearing it had it won.
They call Brookwood “Watercolor Camo” and Kryptek “Reptile Camo”
i just made my kid a backpack using the woodland variant. it’s a pretty sweet pattern for gear.
Hey cool, they have Kryptek’s Typhon pattern (although it’s not called that….)
