Far and away one of the best videos you have done. Very cool. Do some more breakdowns please and start with Heat.
“Far and away””…” Well played, sir. Even if it was unintentional.
I’m sure Tom Cruise needed a cocktail or two after all the training he did for Collaterial. I heard toward the end, his instructor was making him train with his eyes wide shut. No doubt with training like that, he will continue to be the top gun in action movies. Training like that can be risky business in my opinion. The good news is he was training among a few good men. Great video, thanks for posting!
It’s Risky Business trying to be Top Gun but certainly isn’t Mission: Impossible. All you need is A Few Good Men who were Born on the Fourth of July and like The Color of Money. Looks like he made All the Right Moves.
Nice !!! Well done gents !!
DING DING
Proof positive he has been playing pretty much the same character the whole time…
Dom Raso did it better
dom raso does everything better.. just ask him
Dom did it *first*
First is not better.
Apparently there’s another scene where the authorities are closing in on TC in a nightclub and he escapes after applying some nifty CQB moves supposedly taught by ex UKSF.
Mick Gould is the guy that taught him, he also worked on HEAT which is probably why everyone enjoys the gunfight in that.
Thx Mac. I wonder if TC gets an easier time in interviews because of all this jap-slapping training? ISTR that he also trained in Keysi FM for another film…
USP .45 – $800
Standup Targets – $200
Hearing Larry say “homie” – Priceless
I’d second the vote for Heat. Use all the BCM spokes shooters( I just made that term up but I like it.) Larry, Pat, Kyle Travis, Pat, Brothers Spooner, JD, etc to play the parts.
cameras would break from the sheer lethality being recorded
I would pay 29.95/month to hear Pat Rogers do color commentary on good movie shootouts.
I’d pay 39.95/month to hear him do color commentary on bad ones.
A la mystery science theater 2000. That would be epic. And I don’t use the word epic. Ever.
Yo, moose cock is that my briefcase – Pat Rogers

That was awesome. If you ever do another, I would love a breakdown of the Miami Vice Mozambique shot:

I had forgot about Media Lab… thanks for the reminder….
that said, LAV did a great job of demonstrating the skill set required to pull off what TC did in Colateral.
