Two front sights on the right rifle? – Zero for another shooter without losing the original zero?

Aesthetics, folding front with a fixed rear looks ghey…;-)

They why not just remove the folder?

I thought the rifle on the right was a SCAR.

The little smiley thing was supposed to intone sarcasm, and maybe draw out the actual answer.

The black sights might provide a better sight picture, and I’m all for teaching irons before red dots, especially with kids.

the stock folding sights on the Anschutz RX22 were far far worse than expected.
I didn’t have an hex wrench handy (shame on me) to remove them.
the stock fixed sights on the M&P lived on the lower rail of the fore end for handy storage since it was sporting an optic. I simply “borrowed” the M&P sights temporarily to allow the girl to get hits.
Trust me, the folding sights will be removed and burned- the next task is to find a nice optic and a decent set of folding irons.

Can’t you guys just enjoy that a dad was spending time with his kids, teaching them to shoot?
