These Soldier Systems stick together. Didn’t the Kiwi’s recently adopt a bunch of new kit? What’s next?

NZ Army is still looking for ‘the’ next uniform, both in cut/style and camo pattern.

There’s been a lot of development in recent years but nothing signed in concrete. What I know is that NZ SAS is really hooked on Crye Precision AC and G3 combat uniforms and pretty sure wider Army echelons noticed how much different is a modern combat uniform and camo pattern from the standard NZ Army uniforms they’ve been using for some time now.

Being a self-dependent and a nation of innovators, don’t be surprised if Kiwis come up with something totally from left-field and surprise the current big players.

What they leave out is the job’s probably in Waiouru…ha!

      • babola says:

        Nope. Trentham camp in Wellington.

Well that’s not so bad. The range there is a great spot to either frustrate you or allow you the opportunity to become a master of wind calls.
