RSR Nutrition – Indiegogo Campaign

Thomas Keiser, an associate of one of our industry contacts, has launched an Indiegogo campaign for his company RSR Nutrition. The products being offered by RSR were originally only available to a limited number of professional athletes. RSR’s products are highly specialized, designed to better the health, energy, physical, and mental performance of anyone and everyone at all levels of fitness. Through this campaign, RSR is looking to fund five individual products, as follows:

  • NeuroVolt – An Energy and Cognitive Enhancement supplement
  • Hydro-SP – A soy-free, plant-based protein complex, electrolyte complex sport drink
  • Rush-ATP – A creatine endurance formula
  • Amino-RX – An amino acid supplement
  • NitriGen – A Nitric Oxide capsule

Went to their web sight and found no product ingredient information.
Steer clear of any product that doesn’t show what is in it.

Just another “me too” supplement company.

Words like “innovation” are as played-out in the supplement industry as the word “tactical” is in the firearm community. Nutrition being my specialty, I see a thousand companies like this every year, pitching new and innovated formulas…and almost none of them are doing anything special. And even fewer are doing it themselves, most of them private-labelled copy-paste formulations made by a third party. I’m sure if this company gets going, they will end up on my doorstep at some point pitching their products…where they will likely be shot down.

Call me skeptical, but “it’s hard to reconcile (a) “highly specialized products designed to target specific results” with (b) made for “Athletes, Students, Blue Collar Workers, Soccer Moms, Weekend Warriors, [and] Businessmen” (viz. everybody). Christ, I tweak two or three pretty different stacks for just myself.
