Plaid – The New Choice For Combat

This is Tu, the founder of Ronin Tactics, a great tactical company based at the Springs in Colorado. He is a real-deal, no kidding badass, and he wears plaid, a lot.  He doesn’t smile often though, so it looks like they caught him on a good day.

    Tactical Flannel would be awesome.

    This is sort of fucked because while people like Tu, myself, and all of my brethren should and do where what we need it is not the best idea to post this here so some officer or bureaucrat can come down on him for not wearing an official approved uniform based on the Geneva Convention. It would be wise to at least blur his face to allow him some privacy from any one that will have a problem with his appearance. Great picture but lets look out for him and keep him covered by those of us in the community and for those patriot citizens that support our organizations. GOD bless you all and stay safe Tu.
    Oh, yes plaid is bad ass but we as gun fighters should bring back argyle. Now thats baller!

      He said I could post it.

      If Tu has the leeway from his unit to wear plaid, he’s ok. I get what you’re saying but when you reach a high enough level to wear plaid on a mission, no one is really gonna mess with you.

      @toby;

      Argyle would be cool, especially gen-u-wine Argyle socks, without the little cross-hatch in the weave at the edges of the color blocks. To make those, you need a gen-u-wine “CKA” (Circular Knit Argyle) machine dating from the Argyle boom of the 1950’s. The CKA machines have 600,000 moving parts, are very rare, and were in great demand during the 2nd Argyle boom, of the early 1980’s (which was likely triggered by the publication of Lisa Birnbach’s seminal best-selling social satire/commentary “The Official Preppy Handbook”). And that’s all I know about that.

    Guess I noticed the flag on his ass pocket more than anything else

  6. T says:

    Well, it looks like someone else had a bad day, judging by his left hand.

  7. Lightfighter says:

    He’s covered in blood. Judging by his smile I imagine that it’s not his blood nor his comrades

  8. Danke says:

    They’ve gone to plaid!

  9. SRez says:

    This is somehow cool, yet there are endless complaints that “soldiers die because UCP makes them stand out”.

  10. Jon C. says:

    That’s a motivating pic. We could use more of this these days.
