*grabby hands*
Only drawback, $595. I get that it’s sewn in USA, but at that price, only rich men can afford it, sad to say. I can tell it’s a nice piece, but this makes my Kifaru packs seem inexpensive.
I’m surprised your Kifaru pack didn’t cost that much *per piece* (pack/frame/belt)
The price tag puts it outside of my financial reach, but I can see where it’s worth it to the right guy in the right situation.
Multiple packs, long time in acquisition, a few used. I don’t have $595 in any of them individually. Frugal. Nice kit, just, OUCH….
What’s the eta ?
I’ll add this of my list of things to buy when I hit the lotto. Which isn’t so much a knock on it’s price, but more a comment on my sad take-home.
OOOO High End Gorka-S
Id take the Gorka over that…. I could get two sets for that price
This isn’t a Gorka. It’s made in USA and from entirely different materials.
Ohh I picked that up from the article. Too steep of a price. Cant afford the Gucci tactical gear. The nod was to Texas-Roll-Over. It looks a lot like SSO or Splav’s Gorka line and at that price I could buy two sets, pants and hood. Ill leave it like this im a cheap knife kind of guy, it doesn’t hurt so much when I lose it or gets messed up. Same logic applies to that Anorak for me.
The lighting must be weird. Looks much more OD/foliage than Ranger Green.
I thought Ranger Green was typically closer to a Foliage Green, whereas OD was noticeably darker than both.
I would buy one. Is this gore-tex, e-vent? It kind of looks like a soft shell. . .
Yes, it’s softshell, by clicking on either one of the two links, you’ll learn more about it.
It kind of looks like a soft shell because it is.
