A lot of guys use Morakniv’s sheath knives due to their price point and reliability. Now, Morakniv’s has introduced a black blade version of their most popular seller, the Companion.
In addition, they’ve created a MOLLE version of the sheath. The Swedish made knife features a 2.5 mm blade of 12C27 stainless steel with a nonslip rubberized handle.

im a big knife kinda guy …so their pathfinder interests me
Oh good, a new Morakniv to add to the collection!
It shows up on their Swedish site but not the US one yet
Look for the Mora Companion SRT – it’s thicker, has MOLLE capability and has the PVD coating on the blade. The Pathfinder is pretty neat too.
I happen to have both in front of me and they are great choices for a BOB or an inexpensive infantry task knife.
Mora makes some of the best fixed blades in that price range bar none. I have had many expensive knives but still carry a Mora in the bush.
Using Mora Bushcraft Forest for a long time, also with MOLLE, without this ridiculous “jacket” – it’s easier to stuff the end of sheath into one of loops and then – to hook reversed sheath clip onto another. Keeps it in place secure enough.
