Interesting how they omitted the Velcro panel usually present on MAPs. They are going to lose some points on this, because most people who are spending enough money to buy a MAP are probably using some sort of back identification.

It also looks fairly large, which is going to scare a lot of people away who use JPCs and other “high and tight” solutions.

WAS have been doing them like this since before they used US made materials. The only change I can remember was in 2008/9 when they removed the shoulder straps. And I don’t see a need for the velcro on the back, there is no velcro on the back of most carriers anyway.

I saw this post this morning and thought that looks familiar. I went out to my garage and dug through one of my boxes of gear and found my Camelbak MULE that I used in Iraq in 04-05. They are almost identical except for a few details. I just used 550 cord to secure it to the back of my vest instead of this versions straps. It appears there are very few new ideas in tactical gear, just modifications to existing designs.

Looks like an Eagle MAP Pack with molle on it to me, camelback mule though??? I think not!
