        Look books are generally something found on fashion blogs i.e. Hypebeast. I do not believe some would understand on a military blog.

          Like the tactical world doesn’t have things that resemble look books… Just look at all of those “tactical” photographers that hashtag all of the gear companies, it’s the same thing.

            Indeed. And despite the name, it’s not just about “look”: it shows the gear visually in their intended context.

            For instance: jacket X is more of a belay jacket, pack Y is a snowboard/skiing pack, etc.

            It’s still marketing, but one that is much more interesting to have a look at!
