Mayflower’s UW GEN V Split-Front Chest Rig is a multi-purpose chest rig, designed to carry a variety of magazine types such as those for 5.56, 7.62 NATO, 7.62×39, and MP7 utilizing a system of inserts. These magazine pouches also include three GP pouches and one pistol mag/GP pouch on the front. The UW GEN V Split-Front can accommodate radios including the PRC-148, P-152, or Motorola 5000, as well as several types of mini SAT antennas, Blue Force Trackers, or a purpose built IFAK, thanks to two included radio/GP pouches. The chest rig body has a center zipper closure, and an additional strap closure for use over ‘puffy’ winter clothing, or for ventilation in hot weather environments. The chest rigs are made in the USA of US materials, with ITW-Nexus hardware.
The UW Gen IV Chest Rig is a low-profile, mission-focused vest built for ambidextrous use. It can carry four (4) 5.56mm magazines, 2 pistol magazines, up two 2 small radios, and also has 2 GP pockets. The Gen IV Chest Rig uses an h-style harness, with loops to route antennas, comms wires, and hydration bladder tubing; this harness can be removed, and the rig is designed to be mounted to the front of the Low-Profile Armor Carrier. This rig also has a built in map pocket with a Velcro closure.
