I ask because I’ve had “windshirt” type jackets in the past, made of nylon fabrics, and they had a tendency to soak up water pretty easily. In a very light rain, water would bead up, but if I brushed against something it would push water right through.
I am also aware that true “waterproof” isn’t really possible with clothing, because at a certain point water will get through, no matter what.
For only 599.99 and your left nut!
Looks good, but I gather it’s not going to have much in the way of water resistance? Yea, I know, it’s not a rain jacket, but still.
Why not? A lot of these nylon fabrics are pretty water repellent and often have DWRs added to them..
If you need something waterproof, buy a PVC tarp, everything else will eventually let water seep threw..

Apparently, the term “wind” is lost on you.
This stuff is outrageously expensive.
I checked with TYR on pricing. Retail under 140 bucks! (no left or right nut necessary)
I stand correct. It’s not to bad.
Revised comment: Some of their gear is outrageously expensive.
Corrected. Not correct. Dang sausage fingers and itty bitty keyboards.
Because it costs a lot to make.
