Built on the same platform as the centerfire P250 variants, the P250-22 offers an affordable option for plinkers, instructors, and newer shooters. Chambered in the venerable .22LR cartridge, the P250-22 is a reliable, fun-to-shoot handgun for all levels of shooter.

The P250-22 features the same serialized fire control group as on centerfire models. This unit is the actual “firearm” and can be installed in a variety of grip modules. This versatility allows the P250-22 to be fit to any hand, and with the addition of an X-Change kit, can be converted to centerfire.
Full-size, compact, and subcompact X-Change kits mean the P250-22 can be set up as a centerfire duty pistol, concealed carry gun or backup piece in seconds. The smooth double-action only trigger offers a consistent, clean trigger press, which stays the same regardless of the caliber or configuration.

When I saw the title I rolled my eyes, but then I saw the wording- Compatible for P320 and P250 series. That’s a huge difference! Nicely done Sig Sauer.
It does not say that. The P250 is DAO hammer fired, the 320 is striker fired. The slides, and therefore conversion kits, are not interchangeable among the two models because of their different firing systems.
The article is saying the P250 in .22LR can be converted to a centerfire cartridge. Alternatively, if you had a P250 that is currently centerfire, you could convert it to .22LR.
Hopefully they will release a 320 kit for .22LR as well.
I must have been led astray by the picture, which clearly shows the P320/P250 conversion kit as labeled on the box. Regardless, it would be great to see a 320 kit in .22LR hit the market.
You lost me at “double action only”.
This is a good development. Hopefully it’s not too revolutionary for us curmudgeons in the 2A community.
IF this were compatible with the P320, I would have been onboard…but I don’t care for the P250 at all.
