The LiftR is intended to be used in surface and subsurface operations, it is attached to existing combat equipment by slipping it on and over the shoulder straps and cummerbund of the operator’s plate carrier.
The LiftR is self-packing and modular to fit most brand’s plate carriers, while providing the appropriate amount of lift necessary to bring a diver/swimmer to the surface and float them in a face-up orientation.

The entire video is just two dudes standing in water.
Look at this much better video (hosting by SSD no less!) showing First Spear’s competing product. It shows:
1) Deployment of product,
2) Product working,
3) Product being used while returning fire.
MUCH better marketing. Is the S&S Precision product better/worse? Who knows, but I am much less informed.
Then again, if I actually had a use for this product by being a member of a team that needs it, I could probably ask for one for T&E to be honest.

Looks like an interesting concept. Would love to see a more detailed video – I have a need for a system like this, and a better video could help the process of getting the procurement system interested…

Ok, rant time.
Why does almost every tactical gear company need to do video’s like this one,with grainy,quick cut-away,multiple frame pictures,all from multiple angles ect,but not once showing a close up of the damn item?!?
I don’t have ADHD.
I can talk clearly & concisely.
I can speak and compose complete sentences.
I do not have a short attention span.
I am not mentally deficient.
I am a regular person,I just have a unusual job.
That job requires equipment,not unlike a carpenter needs a hammer,just different tools for a different job.I don’t see ad’s or commercials for hammers being done in this fashion, why is it okay for tactical gear for some reason?!
What I would like, when considering a gear purchase, is a close up, for more than a roll-by second or two, of the product.
Then, I would also like to see the product once installed,and not in ‘montage shots’…I would like to see it in clear,in focus,head on shot(s). I don’t care what the product looks like from above me for Christ’ sake.
At the end, you can put Mfgr specs,where to buy and price.
Make the video long enuff that I can get clear information from it, but not so short that if I sneeze,I miss all but the credits,which always seem to be the longest parts of video or movies.
As a small ‘aside’, why does all tactical gear videos require either ‘Industrial’, or ‘Metal’ or some conglomeration of those genre’s of music,to sell gear? Is that a rule somewhere?
