And it’s all going to come together without a hitch…

  2. AW says:

Here come the Load Carrier Systems!!!! Love it!!! Technology is so cool.

  3. cj says:

It will take about ten years to roll out. It’s taken 7 just to get most guys the mk7 helmet. I cant even get a daysack through the system let alone this kit and I’m infantry.

    • Jim says:

The first lot are with units, I heard it’s only 9000 sets

      • Bobby Davro says:

Rapid reaction standby units only then it gets handed over to the next units so by then it’ll all be f##ked and so far it’s only certain parts of it, there’s a shortage of helmets in certain sizes and only certain sizes in vests and bergans. There is though loads of new barracks only mtp shirts because we all know the priority is looking good on parade

        • Jim says:

Some things never change, we now only have three types of helmet on general issue since the mk6 has been withdrawn…

          • Bobby Davro says:

Seen the same story play out each time with the 6a in Iraq and the 7 in afghan always shortages of medium fit too many small and lg-xlg

        • cj says:

Yep, the rollout of the new shirt was rapid. Shame it’s still a turd. Whoever designs uniform needs sacking, why regress 5 years and bring back a ridiculous shirt with massive front pockets? Are they for my mess tins?!

Its always the same. The kit is there, some prick is just hoarding it in his stores for that elusive medal your rumoured to get if you save the MOD some cash. I f**king hate the British Army 90% of the time.

  4. Asinine Name says:

The Bergbuckle is still my preferred QR buckle design.

  5. Paul J says:

Finally a real good “future soldier” system. No Go-Go-Gadgeto equipment, just what is necessary.

  6. Beau says:

So, they can’t use Molle-on hydration pouches? It eliminates the use of a lot of back panel options.

    • Bobby Davro says:

The only drama with molle on hydration is refilling it , picture being in a harbour area or replen or water crossing, if your hydration is molled on you can’t pass it to a buddy or slip it off as you pass through water to do a quick scoop
