Out of curiosity, how does this hammock differ in terms of quality (besides awesome camo) from the ENO, Hennessy, Mosquito Hammock, Clark, or the Roo hammock?
I’ve found Grand Trunk to be good quality. However, they built a sleeping bag for use with hammocks by wrapping around everything. I bought one for one of my sons. Unfortunately, it blew out not one, but two zippers. I spoke with them about it today. They’ve abandoned the design and are trying to come up with something new. On the other hand, I’ve never had an issue with my hammock.
For a lightweight hammock, they are the best value. They are just as good as any other lightweight option on the market. Mine has held up to regular use for a year with no issues.
I have a both hammocks in a double, Grand Trunk and ENO. They are both great, same quality, but the difference is the size, GT hammock is 10’6″ by 6’6″, the ENO is much smaller 9’4″ by 6’2″. I personally like GT a bit more, one of their owners is a marine and they offer an awesome military/vet program 30% off for LIFE! 🙂
I thought this was launched at Summer 2015? They’ve been in the line since October now. I was much more excited to see the MARPAT hammocks they are introducing.
Cool.

+1 for Grand Trunk’s Quality. I’d put them perhaps slightly underpar of Eno’s. Still a fantastic value for what you get.
