In addition to their vast line of triggers and forends, Geissele Automatics and ALG Defense exhibited their new line of optics mounts.
This is the Super Transition T1 Series. Obviously, it’s for the Aimpoint T1/T2 MRDS. It is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum. It is offered in co-witness and lower 1/3 co-witness. The In addition to the Desert Dirt Color Type 3 hard coat anodizing, the mount will be available in Black Type 3 as well. The mount clamps down with 1400 lbs of force that’s to its three shear lugs. A similar mount is available for the Trijicon MRO.
They also showed me their Super Charging Handle.
Once again, manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum with Type 3 hard coat anodizing in Black or DDC.

Dear Bill,
Please take my money. Faster. Like right now.
Thanks.

I’m holding my breathe for this. And I’m beginning to turn blue!
Much love for Geissele especially for their SSA-E but that charging handle looks like it was made for Batman. It wont be replacing my Raptor anytime soon.
Who cares about looks? It’s essentially just a Raptor anyways, made by AXTS for Geissele, so no reason to go replace what you have.
Except it isn’t made by AXTS
Yeah, misremembered details of a conversation about it elsewhere.
AXTS is made by Geissele, from what I understand.
Also the Geissele handle is BA. Easily the most ergonomic I have used thus far.
Worth swapping out your raptor for? Maybe. Worth swapping out a USGI for? No doubt.
Edit: AXTS Raptor is made by Geissele*******
I got really excited for the SIDELOK but this mount also looks nice too.
From my perspective, looking at those 2 offerings, I believe Geissele should stick with triggers.
Brand recognition alone will make these products sell though.

Check this out. Fastest 34 minutes of my life, but feel free to skim through.
Their optic mounts are rather impressive and offer a return to zero after dismounting and mounting again.
I will definitely be watching this.
Is there a weight out yet for the mount? Wondering how it stacks up to other minimalist micro mounts.
