For everyone that was wondering about sending in just your EXPS that came with HHS I or HHS II (not sending in the magnifier). I can confirm that they will refund just the EXPS. As I received my refund of $590 and change just the other day.
Something of a data point…
I sent mine in on 15 Dec, and got the check on 16 Feb. If I am correctly deciphering their internal codes stuff, I was the 2,221 RA issued.
Called 1-888-eotholo option 3 then 1 at the advice of a Youtube comment and got a real live person on a refund hotline, my check was in the last phase of processing, he said they roll out in “batches” my was received on Dec 28th so subtract some holiday days but its in process, call them and check if its processed. You cant get a date as they are in batches but you can get a reference number if there is an issue
My xps2 was deliverd to EOTECH on February 1, 2016.

Does anyone know if L3 is still accepting returns for refunds anymore? I submitted my request for return authorization a couple of months ago and have heard nothing from them. I called a few weeks back and asked about it, and I got a short answer that I would hear from them by email. Still nothing, so I tried emailing them a few minutes ago at refundsupport@eotechrefunds.com, which is their recommended email on their site, and I got an error message saying that this email address is not even valid. In light of the class action suit against L3, are they not going to honor refunds anymore?
