I’ll take “(Some Animal) Grey” for $500.

    Wolf grey please¡¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. T says:

Grey would be cool, but bright orange/yellow would be pretty useful as well.

      WOLF grey¡!!!!!!++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s no shortage of good product in “SAFETY” colors.

FDE or Greyish Green/Greenish Gray will get my card out of my wallet.

      • T says:

Fair enough, it would be nice to see in their lineup though. I have the feeling they’ll be making these in quite a few colors.

    • Cp says:

The tan pouches might take RIT dye.

    • Guy says:

Reversible would be best. Tacticool grey on the outside, hi-vis on the inside.

Blaze or red….I almost lost a DAKA on Tecumseh trail two weeks ago when in fell out of my pack into all the leaf litter. Had all my batt’s and spare Anker power supply. I’ve since put a piece of reflective tape on both sides.

  5. Will says:

Honestly, I wish they’d focus on pushing the new PMAG 9 (21 and 27 rounders) out to consumers faster instead of on the colors of the DAKA. But if I’m forced to stay on topic… I would buy more of these pouches in both wolf grey and blaze.

I bought all three sizes of them a month ago or so. So far, the smallest pouch has been the most useful by far (in my opinion). Not gonna lie, I’ll probably pick up one or two more of these in the black colors as well. Damn you magpul.

How long is the zipper on the largest one? Wondering if my 12″ x 8″ laptop will fit in it

      • Will says:

Zipper opens up to 9-3/4 on the large DAKA. 12×8 won’t fit in the actual pouch though as all four edges are cut out. The area of the pouch where it’s actually 12″ wide, is somewhere around 7-1/4 or 7-1/2″ high.

  6. Highlander says:

Haven’t found any Canadian retailers with these yet or US retailers that ship to Canada at reasonable prices. I could use a few of these.

    • Fluffy says:

Ditto for EU/UK…can’t order direct from MagPul as they won’t take non-US cards.

  7. elliott says:

How waterproof/resistant are the zippers on these?

    • Luke says:

shouldn’t leak at the tape but there is no gasket so water will enter at the very end where the pull is.

  8. Justacivie says:

    • Guy says:

Jesus dude, calm down. You’re like a woman you’re so desperate for matching colors.

Why does it take a war to come up with cool, simple, useful stuff like this? This entire tactical gear market has exploded since 9/11. Prior to that, you were duct taping a ziplock bag. Even now service members have to buy this on their own. You won’t find items like this issued – unless you’re SOCOM. And boots! I had better boots as a boy scout then as a newly minted Marine. And the MREs – those didn’t get better until the first Gulf War. You know why? Because the men in charge of pushing money live and “fight” in offices. And Goretex – that was on the market for a decade before any Marine ever heard of it; it took Krulak (not a loved Commandant) to make it standard issue and to move the Corps towards better boots. I give him a ton of credit for that.

I’m not a child. I served in the Pentagon. I’m very familiar with the budget battles, service equities, and the struggle to field new war machinery. Still, where there’s a will there’s a way. Krulak proved that.

And you know, I was wrong about pencil pushers in offices. You could take the vast majority of battalion COs – highly intelligent, capable men in so many ways – show them cutting edge equipment or technologies for individual soldiers and Marines and what would you get: “Yeah, we ain’t got that – suck it up.”

That last part wasn’t entirely fair, I know. I hate people today. Venting complete. Thank you for your patience.
