Brandon “Action” Jackson Memorial Fund

Brandon Jackson was a brother to those who knew him. Tragically, he perished in a BASE jumping accident earlier this month. This is his daughter. Friends and family have banded together to make sure she gets a college education. Please consider supporting this cause.

Brandon “Action” Jackson – a highly decorated retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant, loving father, brother, son, friend, adventurer, and the closest many of us will come to knowing a real life action hero – passed away at the early age of 37 on March 31, 2016. He leaves behind a loving family and a young 2-year-old daughter. We are creating this page to help his family that is spread out all over the country get to the funeral at Arlington National Cemetery and to create an education fund to pass along to his young daughter.

Brandon was an 18 year veteran of the US Army. Even at a very young age he knew that a life of service was his calling and from that moment on he lived and breathed all things Army. As soon as he graduated from high school in Detroit he joined the Army and quickly raised through the ranks joining the Rangers and Joint Special Operations Command, inspiring and motivating everyone who knew him. He is the recipient of the Silver Star, Bronze Star Medal w/ Valor, and Purple Heart, among others.

Brandon loved his friends and family deeply and was absolutely enamored with his amazingly bright daughter. He was an inspiration to all who knew him as he lived every single day to the fullest. An avid adventurer, it seemed there was nothing Brandon couldn’t do as he excelled in everything from rock climbing to mountaineering to alpine sports to BASE jumping.

(This fund was created by Cameron Freeman – Brandon’s cousin. All funds will go towards Brandon’s daughter’s education and to help with the family’s cost of travel for the funeral.)

Could somebody please tell us when the funeral is. A number of his mates would like to know so we could be there. Please respond to the email and I’ll make sure it gets out to the appropriate people.
    RIP Brandon,
    Steve.
