    The messed up thing is I’ve seen a couple of otherwise competent writers make this mistake, one of them being ex Delta. That being said, I’ll admit it also made me chuckle a bit more than it probably merited reading about someone getting shot in the face with a 40 milimeter.

      AWESOME! That was one of my worst editing mistakes for sure. Stuff like that happens when you decide to change a 9 mm to a 40 cal…when you only find/replace the number.
