CAROL STREAM, IL-PRS Shooter Joe Caley has been chosen as a brand ambassador for the small and select professional group that represents Grunt Style of Carol Stream, IL.

Grunt Style is 100 US Veteran and Patriot strong lifestyle apparel company whose mission is to deliver the highest quality, most Patriotic apparel on the planet straight to your front door.

Joe served in the US Army from 1990 to 2011 as an enlisted Infantryman, Ranger, Cavalry Scout and Infantry Officer.  Joe was severely wounded in Iraq in 2009.  As a result, he spent two years in hospitals for his second TBI, several surgeries for his legs, feet, a spinal injury and vestibular paresis.   With the help of his doctors and therapists they were able to train and calibrate a Bioness System that allows him to climb obstacles, hills and walk and traverse mountain trails and of course, shoot better than ever.

Joe is currently in 13th Place for the Tactical Division in PRS.  “Representing Grunt Style and being part of their Awesome Team is an incredible Honor!  When I received the call it was like Colonel Trautman telling John Rambo he had a mission for him. I look forward to representing the veteran community and the Grunt Style brand.”

Tim Jensen, COO of Grunt Style said of Joe, “Joe is one of the most genuine people that you could ever meet.  We’re happy to be partnered with him and show everyone what our veteran community is capable of together. ”

Joe is proud to announce that his earnings from Grunt Style will be donated to Tacoma, WA based non-profit, “Liz Rocks.”

The mission of Liz Rocks is to create a state of the art outdoor rock climbing/bouldering wall at Point Defiance Park, Tacoma, Washington in honor of Liz Daley.

Liz Daley was a Tacoma, WA native and a Western Washington University Alumnus.  Liz was killed in avalanche in Argentina in 2014 while working as a professional climber and guide for Eddie Bauer.  A memorial project was established in her name in 2015 to provide a safe environment to introduce a whole new crowd to rock climbing/bouldering.

Krystle Edwards, Executive Director of Liz Rocks said, “Some of the biggest and most unlikely supporters of the Liz Rocks Campaign have been the Ranger Veteran community, especially people like Joe.  We are super stoked to have the opportunity to continue to bridge gaps in our community and provide a place that offers a sense of adventure to everyone.”
