5.45 AK Magazines From Svetogor Defence in Ukraine

This is a rather interesting story.  Svetogor Defence doesn’t actually manufacture these magazines, but rather they modify existing mags by adding a window, Magpul-style stamping, and new color.

So far I’ve seen these Black, Brown, Light Grey (Tan), Green and MultiCam with Yellow, Red or Luminescent markings (except MultiCam). They are also offered in 30 rd 7.62×39.

OK, so who/where do the mags originally come from and when/how were they made? That ultimately speaks to their reliability.

The symbols on the bottom indicate the respective OM.

^This^ They look like Izhmash and Molot mags, which are of Russian origin, and will have the proper reinforcements.
