Nice Pack. Hopefully the PU coating holds up. Typically it reduces to a sticky mess in tropical weather.
I also hope they’re using the 1606MC frame and not the 1606AC. I snapped a 1606AC version just from rucking and ended up ordering the MC. No issues 20 weeks later.
Hi Paul,
We sell the DEI 1606 Airborne Assault Frame and have for sometime without any negative feedback from Australian Military members.
Glad to hear it! Maybe mine was a fluke.
Wow. What did you do to snap that? I (used to, trying to diversify) ruck 40kg 3x a week and it’s holding up pretty well
By the way, SORD made shoulder straps have attachment that uses holes on the frame that are removed on MC version. What about PLATATAC?
Just rucking. It snapped mid-way on the right side where one of the holes are. It wasn’t huge but definitely compromised the frame.
I’ve been admiring the Z Alice Pack from Platatac for some time, looking for a reason to pull the trigger, and NOW YOU’RE PRESENTING ME WITH CHOICES?
back to indecisiveness I go.
Love this and love Platatac. Great job dudes from down under.
