Tactical Distributors – Stand Your Ground Jean Available For Pre-Order

Before any of our tactical fashion police readers say anything, yes, in the end, the Stand Your Ground Jean from Tactical Distributors is lifestyle clothing. They’ve made them very friendly for those who concealed carry. It’s okay that there’s a little bit of MultiCam in the corner of the pocket. And yes, they’ll sell, even if you din’t buy a pair.

Tactical Distributirs started by looking at a lot of fabrics and chose a 13oz super stretch denim fabric that gives the user mobility. Then, they designed the pants around the fabric, offerimg 10 pockets around the jean in key positions for both right and left handed shooters. All of the pockets are set up for either blades, tools, pistol mags or AR-15 30 round mags. Simple design elements like 2” wide belt loops to accommodate most CCW belts or riggers belts. Seam hidden back pockets for AR magazines. 2 ply front hand pocket so you don’t get your ring or watch hung up on your folding knife.

Offered in Dark Denim with MultiCam accents, sizes 30-40 waist with 30 and 32 lengths.

  1. Allon says:

Sizing for CCW? Normal because of the stretch & design or up a size?

  2. Hodge175 says:

I like many of the features of many of their pants, but have always held off ordering them because it seems the pants sizing can always be hit or miss.

  3. Jack Griffin says:

Symmetrical widget pockets in flex fabric jeans I can wear in public? Gnarly.

Would pay extra for 3-color desert so I could have a taste of my prime years.

  4. PLiner says:

Awesome looking pair of jeans. My only gripe is with the multicam “flair” pieces and the velcro patch on the waist/butt. REALLY Tactical Distributors? I’d buy a couple pair of these now if the MC flair and velcro wasn’t on them.

How about just a fucking pair of blue jeans without the MC and velcro? Is that too much to ask for?

  5. Scott says:

Can’t be shipped to Canada, that’s a shame.

    • CWG says:

Well we stole MARPAT from you guys, so feel free to make you own in house and call them “Canadian Carry Tuxedo Bottoms” #tacticalreparations

  6. Brandon says:

The only way that Velcro and camo belt loop sticks out is if you tuck your shirt in your jeans…

    • Brandon says:

ETA- Didn’t see the camo on the ass pocket. That’s a dumb ass move. The belt loop I could live with.

    • EzGoingKev says:

I could live with the belt loop. I can cut off the velcro piece. The only thing I am going to do about the stupid ass camo pocket is not buy the jeans.

  7. ScubaSteve says:

i mean if you wan the pants just buy them and take the velcro/ camo fabric off them. Its even easier then hemming them.

I own a pair and love them. Pocket material has worn over a year of constant knife carry. But if I used the little pocket, I’m sure they would be fine.

    • swiss says:

Looks like right pocket on TD pants is reinforced for knife carry, and is less then half the price, but does not say USA made.

Also, I’ve never used the S&S built in holster (already have a couple nice ones for specific weapons), so can’t speak to the utility or durability, but if it’s like the pants, it’s good.

  9. Hobbs says:

I wonder if these are cut so guys with big power lifter thighs and ass can fit into them, instead of shrink wrap like Triple Aught Design’s hipster skinny jeans (which are very well made, just very very tight in the leg…)

  10. Gilk10180 says:

These look great…as an alternative(for those not liking the multicam), triple aught design makes an absolutely amazing pair of jeans, very similar in design (they have been out for almost two years) very heavy denim, great mobility etc etc, in both blue and black, called the intercept pd pant.

    • PLiner says:

As stated above.. TOD= Designer tactical hipster skinny jeans for LARPerators.

    • SSD says:

Yep, and S&S makes a pant too.

      • PLiner says:

And the S&S pants look like normal jeans that most athletic guys can fit into without looking like they are wearing skinny jeans. Having another option, like these jeans, without the tactifool shit on them would be a nice addition to the selection to choose from.

  11. tremis says:

I like the pocket layout, would be great on a pair of Khakis as well.

  12. James says:

Action Jeans- didn’t Chuck Norris already make these?

    • SSD says:

That’s the Carlos Rey pant and the funny thing about everyone whining about these is that the folks who bout the Carlos Rey asked TD to make a Jeans version, so they did. They’ll sell out of these and laugh.

  13. Eddie says:

You inspired an impulse buy, but I will love them regardless. I don’t see the complaints about multicam having any grounding. One belt loop and the corner of one back pocket? Yeah, that sure is REALLY loud. It’s an accent mark, nothing more, nothing less. With all those hipster jean companies doing the same thing, does that really make it stand out? I’d bet not.

    Cheers you Jeansless ninnies.

    Non gusseted crotch = nope

I wear cycling denim, similar to Levi’s Commuter series. They’re made by SWRVE, and if you’re unfortunate enough to live in Los Angeles, you can grab a couple of pairs of American made, made with American grown cotton, from their factory for less than $100.

    • Giovani Urrutia says:

Stonemaster for me, $80 American made, denim stretch, made for climbing.

  15. AbnMedOps says:

Blue jeans are too conformist. Haven’t worn a pair in 25 years. That’s how I stick it to the man.

  16. Lcso264 says:

I love TD’s Carlos Ray (II) pants. I have a pair in each of the four color options. If these truly are a denim version of the Carlos Ray pants, I’ll pic up a pair or two.

Because others mentioned them, I’ve been curious of the S&S jeans. The price point and my uncertainty of the cut/fit of their jeans have prevented me from getting a pair.

    • Lcso264 says:

I forgot to mention, the Velcro patch is a TD pant thing. If you don’t like it, run your belt over the top of it, problem solved.
