Yeti Coolers – Brick Bottle Opener

img_4013

Yeti Coolers has released the Yeti Brick, a limited edition bottle opener well deserving of its name, and they sent us one to take a look at.

Made of 3/4 lbs. of cast stainless steel, the Brick can easily function as well a bludgeon as a bottle opener, but its definitely built to last. An included rear lanyard loop also means you can hang it in a convenient location, or keep it on your person; it might be a bit big for EDC, but, hey, we don’t judge.

Before anyone asks, yes, that is a twist top.

Again, the Brick is a limited edition release, so if you’re looking to get your mitts on one, act fast.

  2. Dellis says:

After several beers when one’s fine motor skills are but a mere memory, one can just bludgeon the cap off!

  3. Cy says:

Really! Can we say overkill. And at $50 overpriced.

  4. Justin says:

Just like everything else from Yeti it is overpriced for what it is. It is cool they are using it to open a Yuengling

    wait for the rtic version

  6. Greg says:

they could probably easily make three or four bottle openers out of one of those brick models, could make it not so limited edition.

  7. Patrick says:

Yeti is more lifestyle brand than anything else at this point. Still, I own a tumbler from them.

  8. Chuck says:

    That Yuengling though…

I was in the market for a cooler, of course I was leaning on Yeti cause I could get one at cost thru a distributor. I then came across ORCA, seems they are 100% made in Merica and they have bested Yeti in tests.

So I went to the range yesterday, filled up my 26qt Orca with ice, water and some eats. I left it in my truck, South Texas mind ya, and I still have at least 55% solid ice 24 hours later. I’m impressed, I’ll see what it’s like tomorrow at 4pm.
