NRAAM 2017 – Airborne Tab for Geissele Super Charging Handle 

The new Airborne Tab for Geissele’s Super Charging Handle is a bit lower profile so it won’t snag on equipment or jab you while jumping with an exposed weapon. Below, you can see the Airborne version compared to the standard tabs.

      Yeah, big handles catch on equipment.

      From what I understand this was requested by unit within SOCCOM that do are on Jump status. Maybe they saw issues with the larger handle during use and requested a smaller handle. Just a thought.
