2UNDR Performance First Layer Men’s Briefs Partners With Provengo Bringing the Finest Fit and Comfort to American Men in Service

Provengo announced it will be officially carrying 2UNDR™ performance first layer men’s briefs. 2UNDR™ features the unique and patented Joey Pouch™ construction to support your equipment in comfort and style. The innovative design elevates and separates a man’s most valuable assets to deliver the perfect fit while preventing unwanted skin contact.

The No-Drip-Tip™ material lines the #joeypouch of these performance first layers. Through a process called capillary action, the outer layer draws moisture off of the surface of the skin and spreads it across a large area. Meanwhile, the hydrophobic inner layer repels moisture away from the skin.

The pouch also delivers improved airflow keeping you cool when involved in strenuous activity, on an assignment on tough terrain or simply going about a busy day. This combination of pulling and repelling mixed with premium breathable design accelerates evaporation keeping you dry, cool and comfortable. These briefs are offered by Provengo in three key models, Swingshift™, Dayshift™ and Powershift™. All feature the most advanced construction techniques and materials, and come in 3”, 6” and 9” leg lengths to accommodate all fit preferences you desire.

At the top of the market due to design, is the Powershift™. This style comes in 90% quick dry poly, that is moisture wicking and has 10% elastane for a compression like feel and fit.

The Swingshift ™ offers those same fit features but utilizes the finest quality lenzing modal fibers, high quality stitching, and a nylon non-roll waistband.

The DayShift™ comes in a blend of modal and cotton; threads that were made for each other. The result of this partnership is the familiar texture and breathability of cotton, combined with the silkiness of Modal. The day shift is perfect for the everyday hustle. Paradise, in your pants.

This actually looks like a comfortable option, but ….

They had me at the following, those romantic fools:

“Through a process called capillary action, the outer layer draws moisture off of the surface of the skin and spreads it across a large area. Meanwhile, the hydrophobic inner layer repels moisture away from the skin.”

I want to be honest. Never in my service have I cared for my underwear. I wore extremely expensive high tech underwear and didnt remember it, I wore 2$ boxers from walmart and didnt remember them either. Whether I was in Afghanistan, in Europe or during arctic training in Norway.

The only time the boxers you wear matter are in one night stands. You are actually being judged by them.

Since I went into the military – I got teached to leave open your zippers open whenever your outdoors/hot weather.
After the years using this hint – I got that used to the better air circulation that at some point, in hot weather, I thought like:
Screw this underwear. Since ever, I do not use any of my cotton, merino wool or synthethic X-Bionic stuff anymore. Private in some pair of jeans, shorts or in winter times in while camping in -10°C frequently: No underwear for me anymore – period.

Many will now concern the same questions:
Hygenics? You are used to the idea of an underwear. But it isn´t less hygenic. I would say more: You don´t sweat as much, even not this “micro sweating” if you are “under load” for short secons and than already rest again.
Next is the weight you save: Don´t think in the pattern of beeing 24h on the mission and get back – or in the pattern of “for this special event I will sacrifice hygenics and do 72h in my shorts”!
Remember what every Doc teached you in basic training: The importance of hygenics rises outdoors and/or in a group.
-> Get used to some pattern that you can apply everywhere. This you can.
One thing I need to say: I cannot tell you if this “method” is practical if you are a fan of dry-cleaning with toilett – I never have been 😛
Exp. if you do not wear underwear, I would recommend after you went to the rest room: Clean your “front” with water and your butt for the best with water and sope.
I will promise you: After getting used to this, you never want to miss again the feeling to be all day long clean at every spot of your body.

Save your dollars – get more healthy!

It´s way to fucking hot to stuck in this underwear!

People often claim a human body does not need to get cleaned or it is improper to clean that often: Just the half of the story and related to some weird interpretation! To clean ourselfs with water (w/o sope) has been a daily prcedure for 10.000 of years. Just 150 years back, you cleaned yourself at “every” water source you crossed – if you could, multiple times a day.

Save your dollars – spend it into something cool!
