Let’s Help Out Maj Gebbie’s Fellow Unit Members

I’m sure SSD’s readers can come up with some excellent ways to let Maj Gebbie know the error of his ways. Based on the Major’s behavior, the more passive aggressive, the better.

My suggestion is you befriend your kindly neighborhood Flight Surgeon and talk up how often said Major uses his ice pack. Throw in some comments about how painful it looks when he walks and that you are concerned for your wingman that he might not be physical capable. Really sell how bad his painful arthritic joints are. Repeatedly remark that his condition is clearly impacting his ability to perform the duties of his office, rank, rating, and grade. Stir in some comments like “you know he really seems not to be able to run to cover” or the like. Eventually if all goes well he gets a medevac back to the states for medical evaluation board. Since aeromedical evacuation won’t allow the refrigerator as baggage on the flight, he is gone and problem solved. Refrigerator reverts back to shared status.
