Very Cool
Ordered.
I’m not mad about this particular run of boots because I own some original late pattern spike protective jungles with the Ro-search sole, but can companies please as a standard go from size 7-14? I’m upset that I can’t always get cool boots because I happen to be one size smaller of a foot than they produce and I don’t really feel like breaking my ankles because of my boots not fitting right. And I know guys with size 14 feet with the same problem. I had to get rid of a pair of Lowa Zephyrs I had wanted to wear in but I realized after getting issued boots I was a size under and that really matters. Cause you know what they say, small feet small shoes and absolutely nothing else. (fight me)
I don’t think it would be economical for this company to produce less common sizes; there probably aren’t enough make-believe Special Forces “reenactors” that need a size 7 or 14.
They do run large, like the originals.
Why no “Panama Sole”?
1st Pattern Jungle Boots were made with a Vibram sole. The Panama Sole was part of the 2nd Pattern boots.
I believe the answer to that is a bit complicated, involving the ownership of the leased “Ro-Search” boot sole machines that are the source of the genuine Panama sole. And intellectual property. Or something like that.
