    They make some good socks, I have a few pairs that are going on 10 years old with no issues. Might be time to replace them.

    I bought a pile of Thorlo Combat socks in the mid 90s while in the military, and still have some that are going on without issue. Sure, some were worn out, but I’m talking about well over 20 years of living in boots (LE & MIL) and Thorlo socks.

    Two tips for rookies, practice malfunction clearances, and get good socks. You need both when things are at their worst.
