A Light in the Night

(Wilsonville, OR)—Crimson Trace hears directly from customers in the company’s Oregon production facility. Much of the conversation with customers is focused on laser sights, but one topic is also near the top for discussion—lights. Customers want to know the types of lights Crimson Trace offers to help them see and identify targets during periods of darkness. The great news is that there are many options to light the night—and several of those options include laser sights. The better news is that firearms mounted lights offer numerous advantages over hand-held flashlights—such as never being left behind when a situation occurs or there’s a bump in the night.

One product category, Crimson Trace® Laserguard® Pro laser sights and laser lights, continues to expand. The recently released Laserguard Pro LL-807 laser sight and light will fit securely onto nearly two dozen models of GLOCK® brand pistols. Crimson Trace’s Laserguard Pro laser sights feature the company’s award-winning and patented Instinctive Activation™ firearm laser activation technology a feature designed to activate the laser and light when the firearm is held in a normal firing grip and when the user is ready to fire.

There are also Laserguard Pro light and laser sight combinations available to fit other popular pistols, including: the LL-803 for GLOCK’s Model 42 and 43 handguns; the LL-801 to fit the Smith & Wesson® M&P®9 ShieldTM and M&P 40 Shield; the LL-808 to fit M&P45 Shield, and the LL-802 to securely and seamlessly attach to the Springfield Armory® XD-S® semi-auto pistol.

Released in 2015, Crimson Trace’s Laserguard Pro laser sight and lights incorporate a powerful 150-lumen LED white light with either a red or green laser diode within a sturdy and compact housing. This laser sight and light is simple to install onto a pistol’s trigger guard and attaches to the firearm with seamless integration. The screws for installation, and the battery for operation, are included in the product packaging. Laserguard Pro laser sights with lights are covered under Crimson Trace’s Free Batteries for Life program.

Other Crimson Trace light options include: the LiNQ® wireless operated light and laser sight system for AR/MSR rifles and AK-Style rifles; the Rail Master® firearms accessor platforms, including the CMR-202 light that fits most pistols, rifles and shotguns with M1913 Picatinny or Weaver accessory rails; and the Rail Master Pro series offering either a red (CMR-205) or green (CMR-204) laser sight with a 100-Lumen LED white light. Rail Master Pro series of products provide four operation modes, including: light only, laser only, light and laser sight and laser with strobing light. These units are built inside a sturdy and lightweight CNC-machined housing. As with the standard Rail Master series, Rail Master Pro products will securely attach to nearly any firearm with a Weaver or Picatinny accessory rail.

Finally, Crimson Trace also provides the MVF-515TMlaser and light option, a grip designed for placement on a long firearm’s forend. Two versions are available—red laser sight (MVF-515) and green laser sight (MVF-515G). Both provide a powerful 200-Lumen LED white light that can be transformed from constant light to strobe.

Crimson Trace lights, and laser sight and light combo products, are easy to install and require no gunsmithing skills. (Reminder: Always follow firearms safety guidelines and be certain the firearm is unloaded before installing accessories).
