Well, if the point is to be combat-ready and see enemy in sights, they will be more visible in the first photo.

was thinking the same thing every time I see these photos….or new camo patterns. He was in behind the middle one.

Maybe I’m missing something but it looks more like an exercise in concealment rather than camoflauge in the first picture.
Only one of them – front left – was actually camouflaged (concealment) the rest were behind solid objects (cover)
I kept looking for the horses.
I saw three Range Rovers, six Labradors, one pair of red trousers and a huge trust fund.
Of course I can’t see them! They’re hiding in bushes!
I believe that’s shrubbery.
