Millcreek UT – OSS Suppressors LLC is proud to announce the new HELIX-QD suppressor line in 5.56k, 7.62 and Magnum configurations.
“Our new Helix-QD (Quick Disconnect) line is the culmination of hard work that began two years ago when OSS Suppressors acquired Operators Suppressor Systems,” said John Spurrier, CEO of OSS Suppressors. “Armed with insights and feedback from customers, dealers, OEMs and military partners, our design and engineering team implemented a development process that intensively analyzed and tested new designs to extremes. The result is an evolution of OSS’s Flow-Through™ technology in this new one-piece design” he said. “We’re excited by the reaction we’re getting from dealers and partners for these new quieter, shorter, lighter and stronger suppressors.”
• HX-QD 556k: a short, extremely durable suppressor. It delivers sub-140 dB performance, is full-auto rated and easily passes the USSOCOM Reliability Stress Test – it’s designed and built for abuse. MSRP is $899.
• HX-QD 762: a strong “utility player” suppressor. With its design and development heavily influenced by the U.S. Army CSASS requirements, the HX-QD 762 delivers 136-139 dB performance, is full-auto rated up to 7.62, and is cross-platform compatible from 5.56 up to .300 WM — there’s no other suppressor like it on the market. MSRP is $999.
• HX-QD Magnum Ti: a short, lightweight and durable suppressor for large bore rifles – ideal for most .30 caliber platforms. With a fully welded Grade 5 titanium body and heat treated 17-4 stainless steel and Grade 5 titanium internals, the HX-QD Magnum Ti is full-auto rated for 5.56, and delivers hearing safe suppression from 5.56 (sub-133 dB) to .338 (sub-139 dB) — no other .338 suppressor is this versatile. MSRP is $1599.
“What’s most impressive about this new product line is how our engineers built the unmatched benefits of Flow-Through into a simpler one-piece design and improved or maintained the benefits,” said Chris Estadt, VP of Marketing and Sales. “For example, the new tool-less HX-QD Torque Lock System (TLS) – maybe the most advanced yet simple mounting system in the market – uses the rotational pressure from gasses exiting the suppressor to keep it snug on the muzzle device. It can’t shoot loose and you don’t need a complicated mechanical device…that will ultimately fail.” he said. “How snug? Testers have said detaching the HX-QD can is like opening a pickle jar.”
OSS’s disciplined product development process and simple one-piece design will accelerate continued innovation and new products – including rimfire and handgun suppressors – for dealers and their customers.
