SHOT Show 18 – Outdoor Research Combat Shirt

Outdoor Research has introduced a new Combat Shirt. Intended for hot weather wear, it is a no-drip/no-melt design, made with WL Gore’s Katana fabric for the sleeves and shoulder yoke, along with a knit Polartec fabric torso and collar. It also features flat seams for additional comfort.

Rather than using hook and loop on the cuff, they’ve integrated elastic in the seam. When pulled up, it will stay put.

The inset shoulder pocket closes with a zipper and features seams which channel items to the bottom of the pocket.

Finally, they’ve instituted printed logos rather than embroidery which can chafe.

I think the column has a typo, it says Integrated electric into the seam, do you mean Elastic?

OR, for people who only wear Crye on “laundry day.” Nice stuff.

Made in China like most of the outdoor line? Dealbreaker if it is.

I was very recently turned on to OR and have been nothing but impressed. The warrantee is exceptional and everything fits/performs as advertised. If it wasn’t for the logo being prominent on everything and not wanting to look like I am repping a brand, I doubt I would shop elsewhere.
