Alpharetta, Ga., March 17, 2018 – KF Armory, LLC, is a proud supporter of United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and will exhibit the Modular Interlocking Ballistic Barrier System (MIB²S) at the USASOC 9th Annual International Sniper Competition. Attendees are invited to come visit the KF Armory Sponsorship table and the on-range live fire vendor display located on Range 37 on March 22nd and 23rd.
The MIB²S defeats up to .50 Caliber BMG Armor Piercing Incendiary Tracer (APIT) and in recent Department of Defense testing successfully stopped multiple MK 211 .50 Caliber Raufoss rounds and multiple RPG-7 HE Fragmentary rounds.
The MIB²S was designed for maximum force protection with easy assembly, disassembly, and extreme durability. The MIB²S is the ideal solution for creating a man portable, rapidly deployable (and re-deployable), fire retardant, multi-hit ballistic barrier system for military, law enforcement, operational, and safety requirements. What exactly is depicted in that pic/ad? It looks like the corner tops of cubicle walls where they meet at a 90degree. Please explain
Ed, that’s exactly what it is! Think of MIB²S as a .50 BMG resistant building blocks (like your child’s favorite building block) measuring 1 ft³ each. They can be used to build shoot houses, for sensitive equipment protection, etc. The picture shows the wall blocks and a corner block, enabling you to build any rectangular structure in an infinitely scalable format. For more information about MIB²S please go to https://kfarmory.com/shop/mib2s/
Once you go to their website and view the product page it makes sense, but I agree they picked the worst possible picture to display what the hell the actual product for this. Cubicle wall connector is a pretty spot on comparison.
Yeah, I’m a little confused too. What am I looking at? I thought the thing in the pic was like a 3 inch vise block or something.
Each block is approximately 1 ft³, we’ll be updating our product photos soon to offer a sense of scale. We have more photos, videos, and information in regards to MIB²S on our website.
If you need to stop multi-hit (up to) .50 BMG, we feel MIB²S is an excellent solution due to it’s scalability, man-portability, and protective capabilities.

What is the approximate price per unit for the rifle blocks?
Please contact us at info@kfarmory.com for pricing details. Cost is based on your threat level, order size, shipping requirements, etc.
Interesting capabilities, may or may not have seen a shoot house on Bragg get burned down by someone that pulled tracer from Saw belts to be the end of his magazine on his M4.
The unique polymer of MIB²S is naturally fire resistant. While almost anything will burn if it gets hot enough, MIB²S will attempt to self-extinguish once the incendiary/tracer compound burns out due to the self-healing nature of our polymer.
