    Please Big Army take a look at this for replacing the M249 SAW.

      Tale of the tape;

      M249= 17lbs
      Rate of fire: 775 rpm

      LAMG= 8.6 lbs
      Rate of fire: 575-625 rpm

      But in fairness, you could probably beat someone to death faster with the M249
      🙂

    JSOC is looking at this as a replacement for the MK46/MK48. It might not be the big army but at least the Danes are not the only ones who are going to be using it.

      Hey, never under-estimate (or over-estimate?) the trickle down effect of technology. As Kirk is fond of pointing out on this site, however, I doubt big Army’s procurement could field a quality LMG at this point if Soldiers’ lives depended on it…

    Still think if FightLite would get the same government money that these other companies get the MCR would be a viable option.
