Not that internet comments matter, but if they would make the products in the original pattern, they would sell just as many to people who don’t know what it is, and a whole lot more to people who do.

Correct me if I am wrong, but as I understand it, Herschel is a “streetwear” brand, and their products are more for fashion than function (i.e. something you might find at the mall). They aren’t marketing to guys reading SSD, they are marketing to teens and young adults who just think it looks cool and want to be a part of the “in-crowd.” I have no experience with the brand’s products, but I wouldn’t expect them to hold up long under actual use (e.g. hiking).

Nevertheless, I completely agree with you!

You are correct. And yet I own a Woodland camouflage hard sided suitcase from them.

I agree. I say the same thing about every outdoor company, go ahead and make your product in a million crazy colors. But also make it in FDE or coyote, and watch your commercial sales go up “unexplainably”
