ORSS 19 – Snow Peak Entry Pack TT

The Entry Pack TT is available now from Snow Peak. It consists of a Tent and Tarp which can be configured as a continuation of the tent’s integral awning.

At 17.4 lbs, it’s not something you’ll be packing, but the tent is large enough to accommodate a cot.

    Only $50,000.

I’m not sure I entirely understand. I checked the website and the tent alone is 17.4 lbs. The tarp weighs damn near as much by itself.

    What is this for?

      Living large

      • QWERTY says:

People who cannot appreciate a large integral tarp must have not had enough times entering a tent soaked or trying to keep mud of sleeping bags when putting boots on/off. The list could go on

“Overland” market segment. Or possibly elk hunters that work out of a base camp.

30-ish pounds is fairly light for what it is and who it’s marketed towards. I just wish the product page and video showed the setup in greater detail.

Looks like a great item for a base camp or area able to be reached by ATV/UTV.

One of the main reasons I switched to a hammock for camping was because of the big dry space provided by most of the current tarps. I could see where this would shine in an area where you couldn’t hang a hammock.

I love Snow Peak, they don’t pretend to be something they aren’t. All the cook gear should be the first clue; they are for having a good time and not a fast-and-light backcountry mission.
