The boot was originally developed for a customer in Asia who wanted fast and light boot with the maritime sole but a high leg.
LALO showed the prototypes around and there was so much interest they decided to bring it into the line.
Look for it very soon in Black, Coyote and MultiCam in both this 8″ height as well as a 5″ upper.
What is the color of the boot in the pics? It looks like a darker MAS Gray. Is there a chance they might produce one in that variation?
I think this is supposed to be black. But with glare from the lighting and the camera mixing it up.
The lighting in that place is horrible.

I puut a LOT of miles in the newer Nike SFBs, but don’t like the direction they’re trending. This could be a good replacement. Here’s to hoping the toe box is as anatomical as the Nikes.
I haven’t know anyone, to include my hospital poglife, to make a set of SFBs last more than 6 months.
I put 600+ KMs on one pair while training for Nijmegen. Soles show wear, but they’re otherwise alright. Put another 300km on a second, slightly larger pair. That said, they were only used for road marches.
